Most Recent set at 10 but only shows 3 posts

I think this happened on its own. I checked and it is still set at 10 Most Recent Comments, but it only shows 3 in the block. I changed it to 7 just to see if it would change and of course it did not.

Any suggestions? or tips to figure this one out?

Can you give me a link to the post with the code or the actual code that you're using?

Deni...OK, it appears that it is "Variable". Sometimes it showed 3 recent posts, and sometimes 6 posts and if I logged out...it only showed 5.

I need the code so I can see if I made a mistake in it. (I wrote the code, didn't I?) I have a terrible memory and it's a whole lot easier for you to post the code, since you have it on your site.

No it is the built in code (I assume the ssi for most recent). 

I am thinking it is a VARIABLE thing. My members have been posting on the same threads instead of starting new ones...let me watch it a day or two...
