Hi, I'm having major problems installing this mod.

When I tried to install using the add package tool in SMF it asked for ftp login details and then just kept giving me a 500 error so I tried a manual install (really would be helpful if, instead of giving instructions for each file, you just gave us the files instead to upload) , eventually finished but now when I try to look at my site I get a blank page.

I have used the manual install for the dbase and the tables would seem to be installed correctly and I edited the files listed as described, so what gives?

See below for confirmation of the dbase :

Is there no way to get a full install of SMF with the mod integrated to install?

My site is EAT IT CLAN

HELP PLEASE!!!  :'(

Looks to me like the index.php didn't upload or got wiped somehow.

Check the index.php file make sure it isn't 0kb then if it is look through the tp file and see if they are too. You might have gotten a bad upload.

If not I would then try a reinstall from ground up. Is there information in the DB?

P.S. what SMF version?

SMF is the latest, I just installed everything new. 1.1.4

The index.php is 15534 bytes

All I did was carry out the manual editing described in this topic, just checked the index.php and it's exactly as prescribed.

What directory is it installed to?

The root directory "httpdocs" and yes, the forum worked fine before I tried installing the mod. I just tried temporarily putting all the unedited themes folders back in and it makes no difference so I doubt the problem is with the theme files.

I've even tried adding a tp theme from this site and changing the default theme values in the db

we cannot provide emf files because that is breaking their license. Sounds like you missed somthing on the edit of your files if you have a blank page.

Nah it was a bad install, I walked him through a reinstall and everything worked out. TP is up and running for him now.
