hi
I have a lot of articles and i want when a user write a comment , i can receive a email or PM .
how can do that ?
thanks :)

Zetan

Currently not a feature of TP Articles. I'm guessing it would take some work to incorporate a feature like the Topic Notifications in SMF.

I don't think so sending PMs can be hard, not sure about mails.

carlainz

if email is so hard , PM is also usefull , maybe in the next release ? :)

It's not about how difficult or not it is to implement, it's not planned and the Road Map for TinyPortal is pretty much set for features and changes for the the next release.
I'm sure that nothing else will be added until that release is out.

I'll try to do this, you want to PM the admin or the user who started the Article?

Lol, Sorry about that ZTN, I thought I'd post the code to satisfy the one wanting it.

Zetan

The way I see it, coding is fine.. but we can't satisfy everybody. I've not seen this requested before, now if enough people wanted it then it might be considered as a feature inclusion.

Not that it's a bad request, I actually think the idea is a good one. It's the same with themes and it has been discussed in the team boards.. Everybody wants a theme and everybody wants changes. Everybody wants.

Mods, I purchase a car and fit an expensive stereo.. I then expect the car manufacturer to fix it when it breaks. Same with mods, the mod author/car stereo manufacturer should be the one fixing it.

Anyhoo.. way off topic, carry on  :buck2:
