athenal, we ask that you start your own topic for a few reasons.

1. Issues are marked solved as often as we can.
2. People put notifications on their own topics. You just opened the topic up again notifying these people that don't care to know about your problem.
3. Its in our posting guidelines that you start your own topic, and reference any topic that you need to. (such as this one).
4. Its generally considered rude in many forum communities.
