Adding pages

I know this might sound like a weird request or question, or it might not.

How can I add another page, into tp so that I can add a link in the header that would allow me to link to say a clan profile or something like that?

I know how to add a link in the top menu or nav bar(the links starting with home) but how can I make a page reload into the current theme?

Tp Admin and make a new article....then add it in as

Code Select Expand

page= the number of the article assigned

I know, but I wanted it tio have the ffel of a regular website.  Most sites have a nav bar for the whole site.  If you look at: http://www.digitalserialkillers.com

I want to add a page to view Clan profiles, it may come out to be a flash, but I want it to reload into the center box.  Is that possible or where will it load?  I havent' tryed it yet.  I might try it tonight and see what happens.  I had figured how to add links without using the admin part, but it is way easier with the admin menus.  I don't want the button to load at the end though either, so that may make me have to edit directly anyway.  I always want the logoff button at the end.

After I get the main information up on the site I plan to try customizing the page more, and move away from helios_tp, but till then helios rocks.  It has spawned some great ideas to come(hopefully).

Have you played with creating articles yet? You can add html/javascript/ and/or php articles. These will load in the center like you want.

How do you choose which language you want to use in the articles?  I have been using html in frontpage blocks on my site.  I would like to transfer all of that over to articles and make it easier to navigate.  However when I copy/pasted the html into the article it didn't come out as anything but text and code.

Turn off the WYSIWIG editor then try again.

I think by default the article allows HTML. You have to choose Add PHP article if you want PHP. But do as gerrymo says and try it without the editor.

gerrymo is correct in that if you paste html code into the wysiwyg editor, it treats it as if you pasting into a CODE  tag in a  forum post. There should be a button or something to turn off the wyiwyg editor and allow you to paste the code directly into a plain text box.

Agreed..it should be as easy as to press a button and the editor will be a regular textbox, without going into settings menu each time to turn it off. I will see what I can do about it.
