Question about the News.

[Ryatzu]

Does the news page use SSI.php to retrieve the news from the forum to the main page?

If not, what file does it use or what is the file that gets the news from the forum?

I know that you can change the SSI.php file to get the avatar to the news post on the main page so i want to try it with tinyportal.

What news page?

the Admin panel? A theme's news page? Invazion, Novelty for example?

[Ryatzu]

im using tinyportal, and on the main page you see the news posts from the forum.
I want to know in wich file the news will be retrieved.

[IchBin]

TinyPortal uses its own functions to create the news effect on the frontpage. Everything is most likely in TPortal.php and TPortal.template.php

[Ryatzu]

ok and where can i find those files

can't find them on my host

[G6Cad]

They should be located in the Sources folder (TPortal.php) and the themes folder (TPotalBlocks.template.php )

If you dont have them, you dont have tp installed.
