Shoutbox visible to guests, even if permission is denied

Hello everybody!

I'm running a SMF/TP installation, both latest version (1.1.4/0.98)
The German language pack is installed also.
There are no other mods installed.

I've set the shoutbox-block not to be visible to guests. If I browse to our site, everything seems allright. The shoutbox isn't visible.

But if I use the direct link to the shoutbox:
http://www.schwarze-rose-wow.de/smf/index.php?action=tpmod;sa=shoutbox
the last 20 shouts appear (that's the number the "show last shouts" option is set to).
Of course I'm not logged in while doing that.

I temporarly resolved this by not making the forum be visible to guests completly.
(Disabled 1st checkbox in the forum configuration section. But not right now any more, for demonstrating the issue).

But that isn't a long-term solution, because we have one board in the forum that should be accessible to guests.

Can someone help?

Whats wrong ?
Perhaps the lack of reading our posting guides we have, please read them, and the doc sections, and use the search.
Make the proper changes to your first post if you still need our help after you have read what we ask.

I don't know if this is a smart fix, or the problem actually is somewhere else (e.g. some wrong settings, though I checked them).
But I added this at line 680 in TPortal.php

...seems to work.

While that is a temp option, that's not what you should check. You should check whether it's turned on for guests. Posting from my phone or I would look to see what variable to check.
