Somewhy there are no front page blocks nor news posts shown there... no matter what I do, I seem to be unable to add front page blocks...

I currently use the default theme since I performed a version check in the maintenance section.
And I still don't get it - no matter how I change the settings for TinyPortal(SMF 1.1.4 TP 0.983), it still won't show front page blocks with the links and the search and the admin tools and the user stats and all that stuff. Only recent posts.

Have you deactivated your panels ?   Check your panel settings in TP admin

the blocks didn't show when the panels were activated either.

I re-activated them now. still doesn't work.
