Can forum url be different than home page ?

Hi,

Although I know they are completely tied with each other I just want to know if it is possible anyway to have main page url as ;

mysite.com/index.php (or even only mysite.com/)

and forum as

mysite.com/forum/index.php

No, you cant do it like that with out having both the forum and tp in the /forum/ dir and a regular splash page as your front.
