Strange bug and error messages.

I've run into a problem. I first mentioned it in Crip's Blue Ace theme thread, but it turns out not to be a problem with Blue Ace as such so I thought I should continue here.
What's happened is that both the Blue Ace TP and the Millenium TP themes (downloaded from here) are returning a "session verification failed error".

QuoteAn Error Has Occurred!
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.
Which would be fine, except that it wont let me log out and I get stuck in limbo.

The error code itself is as follows:
QuoteFatal error: Call to undefined function tportal_version() in /home/cofexm/public_html/Sources/Load.php(1726) : eval()'d code on line 354

This is the same error for both themes, the only difference being that Blue Ace has the code on a different line. The forum is running 1.1.4 but TP hasn't been installed yet. No TP functions for the themes were enabled in admin. The themes have not been modified. I was under the impression that under these circumstances the themes would run just fine until I got around to installing TP.

Am I mistaken? If it makes any difference the server setting is still English UTF-8 rather than English. I know this should be changed but this doesn't seem to be a UTF-8 error.

I would advise not running a TP theme on SMF with no TP installed. Who knows what error you could get (may sessions errors? lol). Does your session problem still exist on the default theme?

;D I'll tell you as soon as I can get back into the forum. The other admin can sort it but she's sound asleep in good ol' England at the moment. It'll be several hours before she surfaces.
I expect the core theme will be fine as it's never given any trouble before, but I'll let you know anyway.

All good now. My partner in crime deleted Millenium TP and that unlocked things.
No problem with the default theme.

Remember antechinus, if you are an admin you can always change the theme in your url. Just add the necessary info in your url like this:
http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?action=admin;theme=1

the number 1 (default theme) being the id of any theme you have installed.

Hey, that's handy. I couldn't remember it because I never knew in the first place. I'll let the other admin know too. As you've probably guessed we sorta jumped into this without knowing much about it.
Merry Christmas to ya.  :)
