Scrolling recent topic block size

I'm using the tp scrooling recent topic block but can't seem to change the size in the tpblockstemplate.php. I have tried diffent height codes and even inserted the code from the shoutbox so it could be variable but nothing changes the size of the block. Have any ideas?

Do any of you have an answer and code to make this block change size?
