versatility smf wrapped mode loses upper personal info box

I'm using these: SMF 1.1.4, Joomla 1.1.13 and Joomlahacks 2.0.2.1 bridge

If I use the bridge in wrapped mode, the upper info area with PMs, search, etc goes away and I only see the major links (see pics attached).  If I use the bridge in unwrapped mode, it comes back.  Is that supposed to happen?

Yes, it is supposed to happen. That was one feature coming into effect when its brigded. As search and login are already provided by Joomla in wrapped mode.

But the Versatility theme is no longer supported by me, its Rocketthemes that deal with support on that nowadays. As its also simply a php issue, not a SMF issue as such, I suggest asking for support there.
