Hi,

Hopefully you can direct me to a post which answers my question as follows.

I have my forums on my home-page.

How can I set it up so that in a menu box on my home-page users can click on the word 'Articles' which then goes through to a list of articles - which they can then click on and go through to read the article.

Is this possible.

I currently have a menu box on the home-page with articles listed and that was easy to set up.

But now I have too many articles to list so I need an articles contents page.

Have fiddled for some time but wasn't able to do it and I haven't found a post here that answers the question.

Any advice much appreciated

One way would be to use an article as a menu page.
so on your menu you could have a link to that article, which in turn would have a link to all your other articles

I have been successfully using the suggestion Lesmond gave you at:
http://www.marscafe.com/index.php?page=36

From the homepage at:  http://www.marscafe.com
you get there by clicking on the Link "Newest Content" which is located in the Content Menu, upper left.

Thanks Lesmond and Marzi,

The idea is good and makes sense and I've been trying for a few hours.

The problem I'm having is that my articles don't have a URL to link to unless they are already linked to from the menu.

Sorry I'm a bit slow at getting my head around this.

Anything obvious that I'm missing?

I think each article, once created has a URL with a syntax something like:
http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?page=??

My front page Content Menu is a Block that contains numerous links.
The item "Newest Content" links to the URL of  an HTML article http://www.marscafe.com/index.php?page=36

This HTML article contains a number of links, mainly to other articles like
TV DINNERS - The rise of food television
http://www.marscafe.com/index.php?page=48
