I am trying to install TP, I ran tp_install.php, but it does not seem to know my db settings, it tries to create the tportal_settings table without connecting to teh db, I am confused, does this have something to do with php globals or something?

IchBin

Why don't you just use the package manager?

Bjørn

The tp_install.php cannot be used on its own, it needs SMF running it. So you have to use the package manager for this.

Alternatively you could use a sql file in PHPMyAdmin, do you need it? I will need to know what version of TinyPortal you are trying to install in that case.

eyvind

I was using the package manager. I am trying to install 5 beta, tha latest, i think. Yes, I would like the sql file, I would just dl it, and either copy paste or browse for it and execute it in phpMyAdmin, correct?

Bjørn

Yes, that is what you need to do.

Attached is the SQL file you need to import.
