I Select

HTML + BBC

Type in the Code Say...

<a href="www.bbc.co.uk"><img src="www.domain.com" alt="" name="a" width="115" height="117" id="a" /></a>

To Create a simple image with link, it just goes to my Main Home page...

but when i enter

[URL=http://www.domain.co.uk]www.domain.co.uk[/URL]
[IMG]http://www.bbc.co.uk[/img]

It will save it as a block, any ideas?

Stewart,

Ianedres

I believe you have to specify the 'http' portion of the href call so that TP/SMF will link properly; use 'http://" before the link...

stewpot

nope, :(

even when i tried to enter a code from this site, it still did the same, i can type into it, and it will save, but other whise it just redirects me back to my home page,

stewart,

Ianedres

You don't have a image file specified within the IMG tag...

stewpot

i know that was an e.g... but even when i copied and pasted a code from here, for a simple clock script, it didnt like it, its only likes it when i use Tags...

stewart,

You use a scriptblock for scripts yes ? Will not work with any other block

I know whats wrong because I did it myself the other day and could not figure out why it would not work until I finally realized that I had to hit "source" to enter any kind of code.

I may have misunderstood the problem, I just re-read it.

stewpot

nope, its well..

I Enter

www.domain.co.uk

or

hello world

into the Box to edit the Block, and thne i hit Save and it will go back to the Block Manager and the Block would of saved that information.

I Enter

<a href="www.bbc.co.uk"><img src="www.domain.com" alt="" name="a" width="115" height="117" id="a" /></a>

Or any type of Code

And Press save it goes back to te forum home page and doesn't save the information.

Stewart,

Zetan

your image source must be a path to an image, for example:
http://www.tinyportal.net/Smileys/new/smiley.gif  :)

Can you PM me a temporary Admin username and pass? I'll take a look.

This will work if the blocks are functioning correctly.
