I have just receantly decided to turn on the download manager, but I ran into a problem immediatly. Anytime I try to upload something I get this error message
QuoteThe upload was not able to complete. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Please consult your server administrator for more information.

I thought at first maybe the file was too big (as implied by the error message) so I zipped a small txt file (314 bytes) and it gave me the same error message. Now I know my server allows files larger than 314 bytes to be uploaded.

When trying to upload files through Firefox, I get an error message on the upload page  (/forum/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=upload) that says
Quoteerror loading http://www.xxxxx.org/forum/FCKeditor/js/fckeditorcode_gecko.js

I thought at first it had to do with some mod installed on FF, so I tried using IE and the message doesn't appear, but I still get the same message when I click "save" to upload the file
QuoteThe upload was not able to complete. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Oh and I should mention two other things.
1. The file does meet with the allowed file types (.zip and .png), is less than 1KB, and does not take more than a second to give me the error saying it may be because it took to long or was too big.
2. The "description" box that is supposed to allow me to type a description won't let me type anything. It's as if there is no text field.

Oh, and I am using SMF 1.1.4 and TinyPortal v0.9.8

Make sure you are the qwner of the files and folders so you have the ability to set the correct permissions to the TP-download folder.
If you still have troubble with it, you will have to contact your host and ask them to check the php.ini settings for the apache and php script they are using on the server your on.
