Hi all,

In this manual
http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?PHPSESSID=883f44296f41bb045b827fe45f6dede3&topic=6309
you are talking about some buttons and "means block is "ON", "turn it ON", "OFF" or "turn if OFF""

but I don't have it in my admin panel.

In admin panel adove each block is "Block is off"
i have text links "activate" and "de-activate" and when i click on "activate" nothing is changed.

I just installed last vesrion of SMF and TP

Thanks,
Nikola

Your theme is probably not compatible with TinyPortal.

Switch to the Core theme and check if that works.

Yes you are right.
It works now.

How I can know which theme is compatible with TinyPortal ?
I used SMF Organie, that is one of most popular on http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/

-------- update:

I just downloaded few themese from this site and with any of them I don't see blocks.
Only can see blocks with "SMF Default Theme - Core"

Ken.

Make sure to get the correct theme by looking for TP at the end of the theme name on the download page, most download pages will have two links with the 'Download' button being the SMF version and down below that the TP version in a link of the name.
you need to download your custom themes from here on TP and not on SMF.

A few themes are designed to work with SMF as well as SMF/TP and for those you must turn on TinyPortal support in your 'Current Theme' settings.

Using SMF 1.1.4/TP 0.8.8.

Had the same problem despite using a TP compat theme (Invazion 1.1.4). Problem was Left, Right and Frontpage Blocks listed as 'Blocks Off'. It got confusing because my frontpage blocks were appearing on frontpage but not my left and right panel blocks (despite being checked).

Finally found that I had to go into:
Admin > Configuration > Current Theme > Theme and Settings

Now that I was using a TP compat theme, a stack of extra config options appeared, including a new category: Support for mods

Under this category, enable "Support for TinyPortal mod?"

All should be good now. Blocks still list as off but behaves correctly.

All of Blocs latest themes feature TP support built in. The next version of TP will be able to render all SMF themes without the need for 2 versions, or TP support.
