block showing up different from admin to guest?

Well I tried implementing my own block similiar to that of the yahoo tabs but different. I got it from www.dynamicdrive.com. Its called the 'Featured Content Slider'. (link: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/featuredcontentslider.htm)

It seemed to work perfect while im editing it (logged in as admin) untill I logged out. As a guest it looks entirely different and im stumped on why. See images & code below.

Where did you put the javascript part of your code? The part that they tell you to put in the <head> tag of your webpage.

I put it in a block that would run in the background. I just checked it and I had it not visible for anybody but admin. I just switched it to everybody and now it works. Thanks!

Should I post this mod in the block snippets? It was easy to implement and I think it looks good. (my link if you want to look for yourself http://offroad-review.com)
