Fatal errors on Helios multi

I've had Helios multi installed for a while now, however when I try to instal TP it wont show instead I'm getting an error message, Helios /
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tportal_version() ihtml/forum/Sources/Load.php(1598) : eval()'d code on line 445.  I'm not a techy and don't have a clue.

You just installed TinyPortal, right? And you are running SMF 1.1 RC1?

What happened, if this is the case, is that SMF RC1 has a bug in its package manager.

This bug cause the files to be uploaded as zero byte files. What you will need to do is to upload the files separately, overwriting the zero byte files.

You will likely also need to go over to http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?board=38.0 and get the TP enables version of the Helios theme as well.

It would help if you gave versions of SMF, TP, and Helios. Also a link to the site so we can see what has gone sour.

Start with the basics,

Surf and Turf , are you using a TP version of Helios?
If you have not installed the correct TP enabled theme, it messes up alot of things.
Look in the beta testing for TP Themes.

I can't get this coded right for Helios. Works fine in the default.

No. Bloc has versions of the themes for regular SMF without TP, and versions for use with TP.

The file names for the theme (the zip file that you download from here) should say what version of SMF they are for, and should also say whether or not they are for TP.

TP_oxygen11rc1.zip and TP_helios_multi11_rc1.zip are examples of themes that are made to work with TP. Notice the "TP" at the front of the file name, if it isn't there, then the Theme will not work with TinyPortal.

there are regular SMF Themes, and TP Themes...you can find the ones you need in the download section..if you have TP installed use TP Themes, if not.. use to regular SMF Themes.
