Can't create articles?

Whenever I create an article all it displays is this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/website/public_html/bbs/Sources/Load.php(1778) : eval()'d code(231) : eval()'d code on line 1

I have SMF 1.1.1 and TP 0.97

Are you putting the same code in the article? Have you tried a different type of article? Please be as specific as you can so we can help you along. Thanks.

The article is just text, just trying it out. When I make the article live and click on the link from the forum that error shows up, not the text of the article.
