You guys know a block or module that shows links to other sites but with banner and not the text like on my site now?  Something like on this site " TP sites of the month ".
But i must be able to put 10 or 15 links to it. Maybe a scrolling one.
Does that exist for TP and SWF??

Use an htmlbox or a scriptbox, and create your list of banners in normal html.

Then place all of your banner list within the following tags

<div style="height: 150px; overflow: auto; width: 100%;">

</div>

Just change the height from 150px to whatever you are wanting for the box.

omg that will be for in a couple of months i think.
I will have to look and learn a bit more about html to do that, i never
did something like that before  :)

But thanks for your help

Here is a good place to start -- http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

But in essence a list of banner/image links is relatively simple. The following code will get you started:

<div style="height: 150px; overflow: auto; width: 100%;" align="center">

<a href="siteURL"><img src="imageURL"></a><br />

<a href="siteURL"><img src="imageURL"></a><br />

</div>

where siteURL is the link to the website and imageURL is the link to the banner/image. Just repeat the A HREF line for each link you want to add. Howver, remember that you will want your images to be a bit thinner than the size of the box you put them in. For example, if you have your right side blocks set at 190 pixels, then you will likely want to keep the images no wider than 175 or 180 pixels.

Copy and save the above snippet, and you will be ready to go in short order once you are ready to start.  ;D

whoesa

thanks again rasyr for your help and explanation, with a bit of luck
i should manage to do that  :)

gonna try this out next week

ps: i can't find your other explanation about the flashclock and public_html you gave me.

just wanna write somethings down so that i never forget about it  ;)

Yeah, crip accidently deleted that post by editing it....

I not even postitive exactly what I said, but in short it is as follows:

public-html
  |-AplosRTE
  |-attachments
  |-avaters
  |-cgi-bin
  |-Packages
  |-Smileys
  |-Sources
  |-Themes

Is your basic directory tree for your website. If you put clock.swf in the public-html folder like so:

public-html
  |-AplosRTE
  |-attachments
  |-avaters
  |-cgi-bin
  |-Packages
  |-Smileys
  |-Sources
  |-Themes
  |--clock.swf

then your path will be just the name of the file.

If you put it in a subfolder, such as "flashclock", you directory will look something like:

public-html
  |-AplosRTE
  |-attachments
  |-avaters
  |-cgi-bin
  |-Flashclock
  |  |--clock.swf
  |-Packages
  |-Smileys
  |-Sources
  |-Themes

and your path to it would be flashclock/clock.swf and it also means that you do not include "public-html" as part of the path, since it is the root, or starting point from where the server starts reading/figuring the path when serving pages.

whoesa

Thank you , im starting to understand it more and more.
