pop up with all the smilies

hello everyone ,

i want to add a text link to my shoutbox which will open when clicked a new pop up window with all the smilies in it ! i know there is a similar link to the post template (when you post a new message) but that one opens a pop up with the smilies that haven't been selected to be shown to post template ! the pop up i want should include ALL the smilies available ! is there a way to do it ?

In the next version of tp the shoutbox will have new features, visible clickabale smileys is one of them.

does that mean that i'll have to wait ? by the way , the link i am talking about in my 1st post is meant to be added to shoutbox so i am still in need of help in finding a way to code such a popup window .

Because the next release might be ~1 year away I am tempted to try and do this also but modifying the shoutbox incorrectly can easily open up security risks as far as I know.

So I think I will just wait.

The wait may not be as long as you think it is..
it will be released when stable & only when stable
which ATM is not stable, so hold yur tators a while.

Both Bloc and Storm have been working on the shoutbox for quite some time now, so i think it's a lot harder to get what your asking about for this version you have access to right now.
I think it's best to just wait until the first beta of TP V1 gets released. As Crip said, it wont be a year, but we hope for a release with in the next coupple of months.

woooooooow , tha's really lookng good and has much more options than the one i am asking for !!! good work there guys !!!

is there a setting in the new shoutbox to define what and how many smileys will show , and what smileys will be in the [more] popup window ? i hope there is , because i am using a set of big smileys that would show pretty ugly as default in my shoutbox block ! that's the reason i didn't ask for showing smileys in the shoutbox in the first place . with my big set of smileys i think a simple link for a popup would be better looking ...
