Can anyone help me fix this error? It's just flooding my error log, but with no visible effect on the board.

here is the error message I get:

8: Undefined variable: title
File: /.../forum/Themes/default/TPortal.template.php (main sub template - eval?)
Line: 73

It's not in a mod, it's in a block. What extra blocks have you added (not those you can turn on through the TinyPortal Admin, but those where you've entered or pasted in code)?

On line 73 of one of those blocks is a statement referencing $title, but that hasn't been previously set to anything.

If you have trouble figuring out which block it is, you can go clear your error log and then turn off each of the blocks of type 'phpblock' in turn, refreshing a page in between, and see when the errror stops appearing.

echo '
  <div style="padding: 4px; font-weight: bold;">';
echo $title;
echo '

Ah, found it, thank you! how do I change it so to not reflect the error?

jacortina

First, see if you can figure out what that SHOULD be set to (if you want to get it to output a title).

Then again, at the moment nothing will be appearing where it's meant to go; so if you're fine without it, either delete the "echo $title;" line or put a pair of slashes in front of it: "//echo $title;" (makes it a comment).

DeviantQueen

I'm fine without it, cleared up my error. Thank you very much  :up:
