[bug] Slow loading index page with big articles !!!???

Hello!

I have found that if I'm using big articles (lets say 700 Kb) and the preview is shown on index page, then the index page is loading as long as the whole number of articles would be loading. It looks like TP is loading all articles together even if only the previews are shown.

With 2 articles (both 700 Kb) previewed on index page, the index page is loading 30 sec. Articles turned off - 1 second.

Can some of the developers comment that, please!? Or I'm doing something wrong?

One comment would be, what have this issue to do with themes ?
Please post in the proper support boards and you might get an answer faster.

Do you have a link that we can see this on? Might also be nice if you could attach what you're putting into an article in a file so we could test it out on our test sites as well.

My site is http://rufort.info
It is in Russian and You might not see the characters properly. But You shoud see the "Page created in 0.18 seconds with 38 queries" at the bottom of all pages.

Index page returned to normal speed of loading when I moved 3 articles to the "Library" (3-rd menu item in the tree, direct link http://rufort.info/index.php?cat=19)

Now the "library" link loads at about 30 sec (while only previews are shown). 3 articles are: a book of 700Kb (20 sec loading), a list of 50Kb (1-2 sec) and another book of 300 Kb (10 sec).

My feeling is that I get 20+2+10 = about 30 sec of loading http://rufort.info/index.php?cat=19 with only previews on it.

If You need to test anything else, I can make some directories somewhere on my site...

This is a bug that is corrected in TP 1.0, as the articles were indeed loaded in full even if "intro" option was switched on, thus fetching the potentially large body text for several articles.

Could you try this attached file, put it in Sources folder, overwriting the existing, and see if the loading is better then? It should only fetch intro text when set.
