help with error message

i get the following error message while trying to install

What version of SMF? What version of TP? What theme, and version? YOu have any mods installed? It might help if you follow the posting guide lines in my sig.

tinyPortal 0.75 

no themes or mod installed

it's a fresh installion

Now that I think of it, open_basedir restriction is something that your host has done. They have a restriction on your setup. You may want to confront them about your error.

i upgraded my forum to Powered by SMF 1.1 RC2 and then tried installing tinyportal it did not work i am getting error message

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

what to do tinyportal version is 0.75

please help

Warrior Gur - Currently, TinyPortal ver 0.75 will not install through the package manager for SMF 1.1 RC2 it will only work for 1.1 RC1 (which has a different problem due to an error in the package manager) and prior.

In order to install it on a RC2 forums, you would have to manually install the mod, uploading the various files, and then modifying those that need modifications accordingly (the .mod file would be your guide here - but be warned, the structure of the index.template.php file changed greatly with the version change of SMF, so some of the things you are looking for will not be in the same place, or maybe not even in the same file anymore).

You can try looking in the .mod file if you need to do this right now, or you can wait, maybe a week, and Bloc should have the next TP v.8 which will work with SMF 1.1 RC2.

the next release of tinyportal v.8 is it surely coming within a week

They removed it from the list of files shown, but it is still available if you need it.
