Hi,

How van I re-install a clean version of SMF and Tinyportal, and keep all my users and information, articles forum posts??

G6Cad

Just replace all files from the FULL SMF package (remember to remove the settings.php and settings_bak.php from it and make sure you BACKUP yours you have on the forum right now)

When you have extracted the full SMF packaage, removed the settings files (2 of them) and uploaded/replaced the files with your old ones on the server through FTP, you will have the forum back to default = no mods what so ever.

Then reinstall TP through the package manager and then the other mods you want to have and THEN install the themes back one by one again.

You dont have to do anything with the DB as long as you dont touch the settings.php and settings_bak.php files.
