Converting SMF-themes to fit TP

I'm really sorry if I repost an old question here, but I do have searched the forum without success...

Successfully, though, I have installed TP with not that much fuzz on my SMF 1.0.5. While doing that, somewhere on this site but I cannot refind it , I saw some lines flashing by about there should not be too much hassle to update SMF themes into TP themes. But the text would not tell what to do...

So... Could anyone please post what theme changes should me made to make SMF 1.0.5 themes work with the latest TP version? I believe such important info should be added maybe somewhat more clearly on the download area

I am sorry..yes, it should be more clear. I am currently in the midst of developing and trying out things, so the documentation have lagged behind a bit becuase of it... The download section is a good place to put such info/links.

Here's something I started and have done a whole lot with. It's changed for the release of 1.1 RC2. But you get the idea of what happens to themes for TinyPortal.

OK, thanks... Hmmm, it seems like some job to perform and some testing to be required    . I think I'd rather stay put yet for a while and wait for that 1.1 release to come instead, since I guess there will be some upgrading job to convert my 1.0.5 themes into 1.1 anyway...?

If you are nervous, then please do wait until the theme creator updates the themes you wish to use. Most active theme creators will update thier themes to each new release/ update to SMF.

But if you use themes which are not adapted for TinyPortal by thier creator, then you will have to do it yourself. (Ask for permission first, of course)

Mmm, what I meant was that I (of course  ) want to adapt a theme I have developed myself for 1.0.5... To spare my time, I therefore decide to wait for the "final" SMF/TP releases...

I see, yes manual conversion topics exists, but wise to wait and only do changes once.
