I don't know if this is the place for this or not, but here goes anyway.

I have been using SMF in some shape of form for a couple of years now, once for a friends Hockey forum, once for my own World of Warcraft guild forum and now finally for a friends Lord of the Rings Online kinship site. I have only recently begun to use TinyPortal, and will not go back to another portal after trying this one.

The installation was easy, and the configuration a total breeze. If there was something I didn't know how to do then I checked here, and the answers for the most part were easy to find. Since using TinyPortal I've asked for help twice, once in changing the direction of shoutbox (here) and once to obtain a customer header image (here).

The shoutbox needed a simple change, which not being a coder was simply beyond me. After I managed to explain my needs I was promptly told the correct search criteria I should be using, and was able to find the solution. A big thank you to G6 for that, it made the shoutbox just that little bit better.

The header image was more of a cosmetic need, and more of a "want" than a need. I asked for a blank image onto which I could add the title for my friends kinship website, not expecting to get this because as stated in the thread, they are free themes. Lesmond kindly amended a header image for me, which has made my friend very happy.

Thanks for the help and support, it's been very gratefully received and I'll be singing the praises of TP to anybody who asks for advice.

I would also like to thank the TP Team for making Tiny Portal possible. It fits my website perfectly and without TP + SMF - my site would not exist, as simple as that. Fantastic job overall, awesome fast support and looking forward to TP 1.0 release
