Download Module - 2 Files

Is there an easy way to have the download module allow 2 files per post instead of just a single file, or has anyone been able to do this?  I notice that the download manager here has that functionality for multiple files like here

Is there an easy way to reproduce this functionality?

Its coming in TP 1.0 as you can tell here. Not something that can be easily altered to do IMO.
