Suggestion for TP 0.9 or 1.0 - User Customization
« on: January 02, 2006, 03:08:29 PM »
Okay, in 0.75 (Babylon theme), the user can click upon one of two icons and hide the entire left and right columns if they want.

It just occured to me that it might be nice, for some future version, if a page or section were added to the user's profile where he can turn off and on any of the blocks that he is allowed to see.

Not just collapse them, but completely hide them from being seen.

It sounds nice..though I am not sure how useful it would be. Collapsing "hides" them partly. Benefit: you can easily open them again. Additionally you can collapse the whole bar to really hide all. "Closing" each seems like just another way to hide them, but this time you need to go to another page to activate/show them again...
