My site is about the UTEP Miners.ÂÃ,  I have asked some members to write articles on the different teams.ÂÃ,  How do they submit them?ÂÃ,  One person sent me their article in a pm and I copied it but it shows me as the author.ÂÃ,  I have read posts aboutÂÃ,  article but haven't found the answer to this.ÂÃ,  I am sorry for being so inept.

This is my site;

Click on the TPAdmin button

Click on the link Submissions(0)

Put checks in the boxes for the usergroups that you want to allow to create submissions under the Allowed to Submit column.

Click the Send button

the next time that users from the specified groups log in, in the Users info box, they will see a Click to Submit link

They will then click on that link, write their article and submit it. You will then have to:

Click on the TPAdmin button

Click on the link Submissions(0)

and either edit the article (to set the Category), or click on the thumbs-up image on the right hand side of the table to approve it.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I am off to try it.

addendum - you will have to show them the Users Info box when they are logged in, so you will need to make sure that you have that TP Block setup.

Sorry, I went to log in as a regular member and discovered that all of the blocks are missing.  I am assuming that the themes I have are not tp themes(although I thought they were).  But everytime I try to upload a tp theme the package manager tells me that it is invalid or has become corrupted.  I have had tp themes before on previous boards that i was testing.  I have tp 75 installed.
OK i have the other columns showing now.

I have done all of those things and it is now working fine.  Thank you for your patience and help.

Does uploading the extracted theme  to "Themes" and simply adding the path in admin section, work?

Everything was fine.  I just have too many options for this simpleton to figure out.  I am learning with the help of some very fine, patient folks.  And Bloc-I got a website so that I could post pictures of my favorite football team.  I barely know how to read email.  I stumbled around and put up a poor excuse for a homepage.  Your tp is the answers to prayers i didn't even know to ask for.  It still has a long ways to go but your tp has been such a giant help. Thank you for the work you do.

I cant find a submit button on my user box. I have all groups enabled. If I go to http://drandolph.com/smf/index.php?action=tpmod;sub=submitarticles
all I get is a blank page.

Any ideas?

Check to see if your wysiwig editor is there. It should be in a folder called Aplostre.
