Hallo.. I'm new with this TP.

I will create in the Portal a boardlink from the Forum.
If a user click on the menu in the Bloc, than he can read the topics from a special Board and write commends.

I have create in the Portal a block that called Shop, with the category title "Change Games" as typ "menubox". But there are no articles in, because i can't added a link to the board.

The board in the forum must be invisible. The user maybe see that only, if he use the link from the Portal on the left side.

My questions:
- How i create a Portal Menu to a board, who wrote the user articles and other can commend that, or with a link to a board??
- What shell i do, that the user can read it just on the frontpage, not in the forum?

-> i hope you understand me :)

Create a link in Menu Manager and use a link as below - just go to the board you want and copy the URL and paste it in the link box. That will take the user to the board.

Don't think this is possible with SMF. The only way that I know of to the make a board invisible is with permissions - visible to certain member groups. But as the permissions are carried through to TP even using the News board linked to the TP front page, if a member is not able to view the board in SMF then it will not be accessable in TP.

You can give member groups permission to use "Submissions" that will let them submit articles and approve them. This is set up in the "Submissions" part of the TPAdmin menu.

Rasyr

I think that he is wanitng something along the lines of a Blog here.

Give User A permissions to write Blog.

Blog is user written article, and others may write comments to the article, however, none of the comments are within the forums themselves

i found only read rights for guests and members and so on. They can't write in a block.

If you mean TP 0.8 ? i Use TP 0.75

Currently that's all that's available - who can submit and who gets automatic approval - don't know what's going to be in TP.8

Rasyr is probably right in assuming you're really wanting some sort of Blog module.

Okydocki... :) I search and search and.. found nothing. :(

It's nice if you say me the way, how i can create a block where User can write articles and comment IN the menu... not an extra menu in the block, so its look the same, as i create a link to the forum, where all articles listed...

That's fine :)

If you set up a Member Group to be able to submit articles then there is a link in the "User Info" box which allows them to create an article. If you set it up so that it is automatically approved it whill show in TP, if not you will have to approve the article before it appears.

Ahhh.. there it is :( It's to small to find itÂÃ,  ::) where User can create a article.

But.. i have test it, the article dosn't displayed in the menu in the bloc, after i approved that and select the right menu/categorie. There is just one article, that i create at the beginning, by clicking in the menu.

Edit: In the menumanager, there i can select the article. But all articles must be displayed in the main window if i click in the menulink, that i create in the bloc. Not only one.... :(
