I've run this through the search and there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer. I'm trying to help a co-admin with a new project using RC2 and TP, we are trying to get Adsense working and not getting very far.

Does anyone have adsense working with RC2 & TP?

Will the adsense code work in a php block yet?

Thanks

gerrymo

Try making up a whole page in Frontpage. or Dreamweaver and adding the whole html for that new page into a java/html block.

Thanks Gerrymo, I think we have it now. One in a block at the top and one at the bottom of the page above the copyright. I copied what he had into a blank DW page and sorted out the html.  ;D

Just paste the Adsense code into either a scriptbox or an article and it works fine.
Just make sure you have the WYSIWYG editor turned off!

We had the Adsense working fine with only one banner (just under the tabs). When we inserted a second and a third (one above the footer and one after the first post) most of the time only one would show. So after a lot of head scratching we added the Adsense to the same places in an RC2 without TP and got the same effect. So it doesn't look like Adsense works properly with RC2.

AND how does one do that? Does this work for rc2?

Yes, I think that right, WYSIWYG editor must be turned off in this case !  :)
