Maybe Im not cut out for this......is there anyway to change my "theme" on the forum I just created without using a zipfile? I really like the them itself just would like to change some colors around. Thanks.

What kind of issues are you having with your themes?
Installing a new one should be a fairly painless process and switching between themes that are already installed is easy to do.

Give us a little more detail about your problem please.

Every "theme" I like seems to be offered as a zip file. For some reason I cant use Winzip on my computer anymore. I like the theme that was default but would like to change the colors. I cant find anything that shows what codes go for each colors. Hope this helps....like I said, this may not be for me.

There are several free zip utilities available, just do a Google... I use several different ones including 7zip, WinRar and others.

As for the themes issue, check out the theme boards because there are several that give you the option to change colors including one based on the SMF default theme.
I think it was found in Crip's Theme Board.
