default visual options revisited

Hi there,

Since browsing and searching through the threads didn't give me a satisfactory answer I'll try to rephrase.
I know the front page article visual options are set on a per article basis but there's no TP usual administrative way of setting what settings will be default for all new articles.
Though when I start a new article it doesn't make them up at the spot. There must be some place in the code where the default options for a new article are defined. Though ploughing through the code is pretty hard since the options are added in the database in the smf_tp_articles table in the options field.
There must be a moment when creating a new article TP decides what text to fill in for the options database field in the smf_tp_articles table. If I just knew where that data came from I could add/remove the defaults I'd like.

That's a long question but since previous similar questions had rather evasive answers I'd try it this way.

regards,

Christiaan

THere's no options like this currently built into TP. Hopefully, it makes it into TP 1.0

It is nice it is considered a feature in the next release but what I mean is a hack. A modification to the TP code. I just need to know what file and what line so I can modify it manually myself. It might be even a workaround for those who are eagerly waiting for the option.
