openads question

I realize the tiny portal forum isn't a place to support other scripts, but I figured I'd check.  Are any of you using openads?  For a long time, I've used the predecessor phpadsnew.  I usually placed a banner at the bottom of my SMF template.  I've implemented the invocation script with no problem in a script box, but I'm getting parse errors when I apply the code to my template.  I'm thinking I'm missing a few quotes that need to be escaped.  Can anyone give me some advice?
