Help changing the color of just one block

[cheetara]

Howdy all!

I really like the colors of my site:
http://www.mutinyraiding.com/indextemp.php

but, on the vent server thing on the side I want to change the background color and not center the text.  Is there an easy way to do this or is that like a code modifying thing?

[IchBin]

That depends on what your code is in the script. What Ventrilo status are you using?

I am just using the one from the darkstar company it is just a little javascript thingy...

<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://clientcp.darkstarllc.com/ventrilo-status/index.php?security=true&outputType=JS&stamp=YToyOntzOjI6ImlwIjtzOjEzOiI2Ni4yMDcuMTY3LjUxIjtzOjQ6InBvcnQiO3M6NDoiMzkxMyI7fQ=="></script>

did that code thingy not make sense?

[IchBin]

The color of that script is dependent upon the host providing the content. If you are calling the script from a different website, you should ask if they can provide you some options for this.

hmmm so like right now it is transparent?

One way you change the background is by placing your code within a table, like so, I have use a light blue color bgcolor="#00FFFF" but you can change this to what ever you like, place this in a script block

Code Select Expand

<table border="0" width="100%" id="platable1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#00FFFF">
<tr>
<td><center><script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://clientcp.darkstarllc.com/ventrilo-status/index.php?security=true&outputType=JS&stamp=YToyOntzOjI6ImlwIjtzOjEzOiI2Ni4yMDcuMTY3LjUxIjtzOjQ6InBvcnQiO3M6NDoiMzkxMyI7fQ=="></script></center></td>
</tr>
</table>
