I'm running TP with the two side blocks and the two center news blocks, and can't help wondering if there's a way to hack another news block into the mix.

There ought to be.

Also, what's the deal on no "read more" link in the articles from the forum?

Is this a topic that we're not suppose to talk about?

I dont follow on the last part of what you said but v10 is gonna have alot of flexiblitly in layout. currently you can create a 5 column by basically creating php block and coding 2 columns with content :)

By the last comment I meant whenever I ask why there's no "read more" functionality, the post goes unanswered.

Exactly how do I do what you recommend above for a fifth column? Here's my blog: http://cincyreport.com

As you can see, I pull posts from the forum in the two center columns.

I'd like to add a third column in the center that does the same thing.

Finally, if by "v10" you mean the next version of TP, when is it due?

Thank you,

ric

There is no 'due' date attached to the next version of TP, it will be released when it has been finished.
Another question that has been asked and answered many, many times.  ;)

I think you just done that all by yourself ;)

basically youd create your html so that youve got 2 columns bro, doing it with php would allow you to code the calls for blocks like SSI hope thathelps.

Not following...

Are you saying I use a TP html or php block, and if I do, how am I pulling posts from the forum?

Only making what should have been a very simple point ricland... that the fact is most questions can be answered by doing a search.

If you had done a search on that particular question you would have discovered that it was asked and answered so many times that it becomes tedious to say the least.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions, that's why there is a staff of 'Team' members here on TP, all we ask is that you be just a quick to use the search function because 99% of the time your answer is already there.

Thanks... Ken.

A search for "five columns" pulls up nothing.

A search for "columns" doesn't answer my question either.

Hey, here's a swell idea: why don't you stop the mind games and tell me what terms I should search?
