After installing TP, for some reason new users are unable to register.  The button is there, but not clickable.  Anyone know why this has happened?

Maybe the register template did not get the right permissions or something like that.  ???

I see the register button just fine, and I can also click on it to go to the page as well.

I think they are talking about when you try to register, when you fill out all the info the register button does not activate.

Yeah, the button is visible but not clickable.

You have javascript errors. Replace the .js files in your default theme. Check to see if register is working in the default theme. If it is, then check the custom theme.

Yeah, I tried to use the default theme and had the same issue.  I replaced all the .js files in the default theme folder but it didn't fix the problem :(.  Any other suggestions, maybe I did something wrong.  All the smileys and bold/italic etc. also don't work, and I'm sure it's another javascript error since I can see it when I hover over the smileys and what not.

do you have any other scripts running that u installed yourself ??  :o

Anyway.. when you click on the error it says that this is a Syntax error ..

Looking at the source i see this

      var smf_scripturl = "http://forums.frown-guild.org//index.php";

That adress looks wrong to me... look at the // ... on my forum that address only have one / so maybe its a path problem.. but im not experienced to help you fix it.. just pointing out what i think might cause this  ::)

baller1308

Yeah, I noticed that too.  I fixed the // part to just / but am still having the same problems.
