Friend Cant View My Forum

SMF Version: SMF 1.1.3 with TP 0.9.8

i have a problem that i cant get figured out so i thought i would bring it to
people who are a lot smarter then me when it comes to this stuff.

okay, here we go....

my friend was a member of my new forum up untill yesterday when all of a sudden he can no longer view my forum. he just gets the white page of death "SERVER CANNOT BE FOUND".
i would also go to my members list and i could view the profile of everyone except his, his profile page would just hang there and not load.

here is what i have checked out:
he did not accidentally get put on an IP deny in the admin section or my cpanel.
i checked with my host and they dont have him blocked for any reason.
i had him try and view the forum through an anonymous surfing site and he could view it fine that way. (which i dont understand because his IP isnt being blocked)
he is using IE6

does anyone have any ideas what is going on?

This isn't really a Tiny Portal problem, however [cue own trumpet blowing smilie] if you or better still your member would like to go to a site I'm a co-admin on, we have a a strong PC help section and peeps who can help. You will need to register but help is freely given.

Have your friend updated his virus and scriptblocker somehow ?
Tell him/her to clear the cache and temp internet files and try again. Also if some scriptblock is active, thell to chut that off
