Giving a seperate board a different look

[nukirk]

What's up? I would like to do the following:

I want to setup a forum so that when people click on that particular forum, it looks different form the rest of the site. Reason being is because I want to make a "tribute site" and make this different with no type of advertising around it. Is this possible and can anyone give me some pointers?

More an SMF question as the boards and how they work is their department.
But when you set up a new board, you check the catbox for what theme to use on that board and then check the "overide members theme" and that will bring them to the theme you want them to see in that board.
Offcourse you have to EDIT the boards you already have if it's any of them you want to change them theme for.

And ofcourse you can also make some special blocks that only show for this special board

Edit: About advertising.. do you use blocks or do you use the Add Mod to display adds on your page ??

I use the Add Management Mod and i made it to only show for normal usergroups so that my chatermembers dont see them.. you can do the same with blocks

I guess this makes it TP related issue
