I've searched for this and can't find any info,

When i try to edit a new or old article, I can't. It shows a picture of the home page of the forum inside the edit box. I checked another one of my forums, and it also does the same thing. Any idea what is going on?

SMF Version? TP version? Which theme? Do you have the right version theme? Did you try editing without the editor on? Can we have a link? Can you give us a test account to view this problem? Does it only happen in IE or FF?

As you can see there are many things we need to know. Please follow the posting guidelines so we can help you to help us.

it is now happening on 3 different forums, all 2 have the same theme - graphite, 3rd has helios, the 2 with graphite have smf 1.1.3 and tp 0.983 the third has 1.1.2 and 0.97 tp
Happens in both FF and IE. 2 of the sites are: http://jettajunkie.com & http://tiguanclub.com

The only other mods are YouTube BBC Tag and Seo 4 SMF.
Haven't had any problems until today. ????? any suggestions?

the whole home page of the forum is displaying in the editor

bloc

Thw whole page? Like an echo of the frontpage..?

I remember this happening before. I think it was mod related. Can you do a clean install in another folder to test it? Then add the mods one at a time and see if its causing the problem? If I remember right it was the SEO mod.

Has to be a mod, or possibly the theme, have you tried using the default and see how it looks???

I tried to merge two themes...the result I lost the ability to use frontpage blocks...that is why I am asking

Tried different themes. I'm going to change the htaccess file and see if that helps.

uninstalled the seo mod, turned the htaccess to txt and still have the same problem. Really weird, especially since 2 are on one server and 1 is on the other and they all have the problem.

huh?  what code were you inputting to the article, or is that how it looks when you open the manager?  Were you by any chance using an iframe?
