Before I post this, I want to say that I searched to try to find what I was looking for, and I could not come up with any good results, possibly because I could not phrase what I want to do correctly.

So I tried to type out what I want to do, and it makes little to no sense.

So I have done screenshots, and then photoshopped them to look the way I would like it to look.

If someone could help me make these changes, or at least tell me what file, and what line I can look at to make these changes I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

oh crap, I just realized this is a SMF question isn't it... lol my bad

You're learning quickly. :) For a reference, if you search through the Display.template.php file for the word "signature", that will give you an approximate place to start with the code you'd like to add.

Thanks ich, sorry bout posting this here, we can remove it if necessary.

Gosh support is so much better over here.  A general question.  If I edit some things and put them below the signature, if a user does not have his/her signature turned on then no one will be able to see what I added correct?

That presents a problem for what I want to do :(

IchBin

If you add it "after" the signature code and not "inside" the sig code you shouldn't have that problem.

Ah thanks again Ich.  Not that I know where the signature fields stop though :/

? ? ?

Take a look at the code.

// Show the member's signature?
if (!empty($message['member']['signature']) && empty($options['show_no_signatures']))
echo '
<hr width="100%" size="1" class="hrcolor" />
<div class="signature">', $message['member']['signature'], '</div>';

Thats the end of it. So add your own div right after that for the info you'd like to put in.
