Change Domain Name. Any influences?

I have TP 0.7.5 installed and I want to change my domain name.
Will this action affect any of images* etc or TP itself?

It shouldn't. Any problems, go over to SMF and get repair_settings.php and run that. Also run repair_paths.php as well. They should fix any problems if you have any.

Sorry, missed part of your question. The path to the images may need updated manually for images in blocks you have created.

You could run a database query that would convert all your links.

im having same kinda problem..  i changed my domain name recently..  and now all i see is white background with text.

i ran the repair_setting.php  and it loaded the default theme for me.  i have the wow_DK one i think its called..   but as soon as i log in..  it goes back to the white background w/ text only.. ??

thanks for any info.  also.. i couldn't find on the smf site the repair link one.

also.. if ya look at the bottom where it says what its loading.. it still shows my old domain name?


::FIXED:: - for those that may have same problem.

after doing the repair_settings.php thing.  i thought i had changed all urls on the server settings in TP.. but i found 2 more in current theme that needed changed... then all was fine..   makes ya feel good to solve your own errors.. hehe
