I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction here. I'm going to describe first what I want and then how Im currently set up.

I would like a block on the left side that's titled "Contents".  That box should have links to articles, but for now lets just deal with one.. "How To".  When you click on How To it takes you to "How To" article. And if you look above the article you see  "My Site" > How To.

The "How To" Page is actually a table of contents really for different "How To" articles.  So if you click on "Sharpen a pencil" it will take you to the "Sharpen Pencil" article.. and above the block you should see "My Site" > How To > Sharpen a Pencil.

Okay I can make all that happen.  Here is the part I CAN'T though.  In the site tree above the block I want to click on "How To" and actually return to the "How To" table of contents article.

I have tried nearly every combination of creating categories and organizing things I can think of.  I feel this should be easy to do, but am thus far stuck.  Any help please??

Thanks in advance!

I'd be interested in the answer to this one.

I have an idea, but I don't want to mislead you.

I'm happy to try any idea you may have Alex!  My board isn't live yet so I'm not worried about breaking anything :D

Oh and btw, love your site.

:D thanks. Try creating a category, but make it a sub-category of something else.

When you create an article, link it to the subcategory instead.

See how that works for you.

o.O

Not quite sure if I follow that, but I will try :D

Hmm... okay I think I followed what you meant, but sadly didn't work so much..

Hm. I tried it myself and I think I got to work as you wanted.

As an example:
Created the Category called "How To."
Then create an article called "Sharpen Pencil."
Make sure you select article as sub-category of "How To."

...and if you want create an intro.
