TP Install on Modified Default theme

G6 I am redoing the default theme but I dont have TP install on the forum.  But I wondeing its TP will install correct on the default theme after I get done.  I aint redoing the codes for the theme only the icons, colors, ect.  You will know what I mean I hope.

But do I have to get the permission to release the default theme afte I get done   But im going to rename the defaul theme to a new name.

It will probably depend on the changes you have made.
If it's only color and image changes, the TP will probably install as on the Default Yes.

Do you have the changes made to the default theme as it comes installed ? I mean with all the template files as it is with a fresh SMF install. or have you made a copy of the default theme and changed that ?

If you have a copy of it installed, you cant install TP to that theme, you have to convert it for TP and then install it like any other theme

I actual stater on the actual default.  Like a fresh install.  I didnt make a copy of the theme at all. 

Yes, I am going to changes the colores and the images on the theme.  I aint miss with any codes or redoing the codes at all.  I wanted to learn nice and slow with the colores and figuer what part its efffter on the theme.

Umm,I did make a copy of the theme too.  I guess I can do both themes at the same things.  The real default comes with the fresh install on SMF so TP can install on the theme correct and I dont have to convert the theme for TP.  On the copy I made I will do the samethings Im going to do to the real deafault.  So if a person aint using TP and really like the theme can use it without any problems at all.  ANd the real default they can install TP corrert all that.

I have the old version of tp but its keep missing up the profile and I dont know why.  Umm, If I have to convert a theme for TP.  I will ask tons help because I dont know how to convery a theme or I dont how to do coding for tp.

I can do a fresh install each time I like to do a theme and make a copy of the theme for SMF only
