This is the first time I try to make a sitemap, but as far as I have tried, it will not work on my site.

I have TP 0.98 and a custom Theme SoftMC_Blue.

I've tried sitemap mod for SMF, and didn't work, also tried SEO 4 SMF but no avail.

I just want the sitemap on my site, and a block or something to link it on the home page (portal).

Is there a reason you havent tried to use the TP default sitemap block ?

Admin/TinyPortal/BlockManager/
Create a block to where you want it  (left/right or center) and then choose the sitemap block.

Then on the same page you click the menumanager link and create the link to the page you want to link to, or site works to. Check the catbox for "sitemap" and the link will show in the sitemap block.

Thanks G6, well... the only thing that I can see on this sitemap is the Downloads Section, I have tried what you said to me, but how can I link the one sitemap if it doesn't exist.

Is there a manual for this?

Thanks

Sitemap is a block type. In the menu manager you check the boxes of the links that you want shown in the sitemap.

Ich is there a way to make your own custom links for the site map. I myself wondered this a while back when taking a look at the site map block.

Yes you can do this in the menu manager.  Just select the link option in the menu manager and also select the option for the site map.  You can create a link to whatever you want. :)

Thanks a lot tick. I'll have to remember this when I redo the sites in the next few weeks

Sure thing.  Glad to have helped.  :)

I'll get a little offtopic with this, but how can I remove the Downloads link from the sitemap and place it on the upper side of the website, where the other titles are located.

Everytime I create a new sitemap the Downloads link appears :S

G6Cad

At this time there is no way except to turn off the download module itself.  :-\
