Hi,

Good day to all!
Good day to all!
I have a problem with my forum width at the left side, the width is a little bit smaller than the banner (see arrow on the picture below). I already checked the fixed width of the banner and the body area but to no avail. How do i fix this mis-allign margin or forum width?

Also my column width at the part of my main board (post/topics column) is not allign with the above column. The lower portion is much wider than the upper portion (see arow on the picture below). How can i fix this mis match width?

Sorry i'm newbie here. Hope there's something who can help me on this.:-X

Many thanks,

madagascar

I'm wondering if your banner is causing your header to push out farther than it is supposed to for the top picture. Try changing the width of your banner temporarily to see if that fixes it.
For your bottom picture I think its because you don't have any posts in the boards Davao, Luzon etc. Put some test posts in those boards and see if it fixes the column width issue.

there board column problem has already resolved but the left margin problem still exist.

Is there any part of the php that we change the margin of the main board? i think i have a problem of the left margin of my board. The right is already ok. alligned already with the right banner.

Many thanks

It looks to me like the banner is the cause of the problem, you have an horizontal scroll bar, so something is over size. When you set the banner width did you allow for the body padding?

/* The main body of the entire forum. */
body
{
background-color: #E5E5E8;
margin: 0px;
padding: 12px 30px 4px 30px;
}

The left and right padding is 30px in the default theme.

nokonium,

thanks for your help. i already changed the left and right padding and shortened the banner but the results is there is a space between the left and right banner but the mis-allign left margin still exist. I also noticed that already no scroll bar appeared buttom of the screen.(please see picture below).

Many thanks,

Not sure why the index is out of alignment.. But the front page is how the default theme looks on my site with no header at all.

I'd be inclined to choose one of the nice themes here.. I'm not a fan of the default look but thats just my opinion. I just think there are some classy looking themes that would suit the type of site you have.

2 pence.

If you change the theme here at TP in the theme changer, SMF Default, you will see it is the same, and the Category 'Shop' also has the alignment problem in the forum index.

There are some really nice slick themes to choose from  ;)
