Menu blocks

Running TP 0.75 with 1.1 RC1 on a couple of sites.
On soaring.aero
I have developed the forum quite a bit but I have a question regarding duplicate menu blocks. Rather than have all links in one block I would like to have seperate menu blocks for diferent sections. ie; main menu, links, resources, etc. Adding more menu blocks does not seem to be an option or I am doing something wrong. Take a look at the site and you will what I mean.

There's only one "menu box" built in currently. I think Bloc said he's going to give an option for more. For a temp fix you can create a html/javascript box and add your own links.
