how do i show board on index with sidebars?

how do i set up my blocks on the front page to look like http://www.brutalnet.net

i can't seem to get any blocks to show up. and which block shows the forum index?

Can you provide a little more detail?  From the link you  posted it does not look like they are using the front page option.  But to set up the blocks (and I am assuming you have TP installed) you can do that threw your admin panel  under the tiny portal section look for manage blocks.  The blocks displayed on that site are left blocks.   I would also recommend checking out the docs section  http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?board=85.0  To more familiarize yourself with how tiny portal works

Admin/TinyPortal/Settings/Frontpage

Set the What to show on front page to " Go directly to forum index"

Blocks to the left hand side

Admin/TinyPortal/Panels
Set show left hand blocks only to ON, and the others to OFF

Then you place your blocks in
Admin/TinyPortal/Block Manager/ to the left hand side and it will look the same as on the site you pointed to. A forum only with blocks to the left side of it.

ok i did all those and it should be working but it's not.

Thats because you still have the right site and center still set to ON in the Panels settings.
You have to use the LEFT side ONLY.

oh sorry i justy had them on to test if any would work. even when center and right are off it still doesnt work

Use right panel: [on] [off]   Check to OFF (you have it set to on in the screenshot.)
